Se nasci in una famiglia in cui nonne, mamma e zia sono abilissime con aghi e filo, uncinetto e ferri, creatrici instancabili di elementi d’arredo e abbigliamento per tutte le età … cosa fai? Senti questa spinta creativa, in parte per imitarle ma anche per cercare di trasmetterle il più possibile ai tuoi figli e alle generazioni che seguiranno. Certe antiche lavorazioni, forse già tramandate nei decenni e nei secoli, devono essere mantenute e (perché no?) rinnovate. Il mio sito web vuole testimoniare l’eredità che ho ricevuto e illustrare come la sto interpretando nella speranza che il mio esempio sia seguito da molti.

Being born in a family where my grandmas, my mum and my aunt were really clever with needles and threads, crochet and knitting needles, tireless designers of furnishing decorations and clothing for every age … what are you going to do? You feel this creative push, both to imitate them and to try to share them as much as possible with the next generations. Some ancient workmanships, probably already handed down through decades and centuries, must be kept and (why not?) renewed. My website would like to witness this inheritance and show the way I’m interpreting it hoping my example will be followed by lots of people.
